As summer starts to wane, and the nights quicken, this time of year is always best known for bonfires, campside treats, and smoky sips. We thought smoky fireside nights were excellent inspiration for a cocktail menu, so join us as we take a seat next to the proverbial fire. Don’t worry, your clothes won’t smell after this one. First up, The Gentry. Conjuring images of pipe tobacco, fresh cigar, mahogany and cherry wood, velvet plush robes. While this doesn’t quite scream fireside, it screams smoke in some of our favorite ways, and feels good to drink. Time to put your classy pants on for a moment. After that whistle wetter, it’s time to dive into something a little more…meaty. Peach meat, that is. As we combine charred peach, and our Oaked & Ember smoked bourbon to craft a lovely bright summer sip that sings of fresh charred fruit, grill outs, and campfire fun. Lastly, we need something to round out the night. That, and we also haven’t broken out the torches yet, so it’s time to play with fire. Smoked cinnamon and bourbon go lovely together.
